I think I may be the only person in Western civilization to say this, but...

...this annoys me very, very much. (Beautiful and all as it is.)

Why do you find it annoying?

I don't think I find it quite to the point of annoying, but the train station shouldn't be damaged, I'm not sure why the Witch is back (surely that wasn't a Hag!) and I don't think Caspian is supposed to be anywhere near that old .... or that hot.

Dichroic, I believe the Witch is back because one of Caspian's followers (have forgotten the name - Ni-something) suggests calling her back to help with their cause. It looked more like an image of her than anything else.

I agree that the train station shouldn't be damaged, but am willing to withhold judgement until I actually see the movie. If they get the atmosphere right I'm satisfied :)

I still haven't read The Chronicles yet (I know, some Lewis fan I am) so I cannot say whether or not I'm annoyed.

How's the renovations coming?

I had the same question -- what do you find annoying, Rachel? The trailer made me excited about seeing the movie, so I guess I played into its hands.

With the admission that often a trailer contains the most exciting moments of a movie: the feel of the whole thing is just WRONG. They've apparently (again) turned the Narnia stories into action-adventure-style fantasy on a grand scale. I could go through with a point-by-point list, but I'll spare the world that until I've seen the actual movie. ;-) It looks like a beautiful, exciting movie -- it's just not Lewis' Narnia, in my opinion.
